Hi everyone, I'm running for Minnesota State Representative here in Burnsville, MN, District 55B.

In these extraordinary times, I've been awestruck and inspired by the collective action of the people of Minnesota. All across the state, thousands of Minnesotans are standing up and fighting for what they believe in. Minnesotans are feeding the hungry, clothing the poor, defending our neighbors, marching against tyranny and injustice.

And they've tried to stop us—with tear gas and propaganda and bullets, and we have paid in blood.

But Minnesota has not stopped fighting.

In these extraordinary times, Minnesota has become a beacon of hope and light—and not just to this nation, but to the whole world. We need to carry that light forward. We need to carry the energy of this moment, of this movement, and build a better Minnesota for all.

We need to build a safer Minnesota, where our peace officers are tasked with protecting the rights and lives of all who call this great state home, where our children are focused on learning and not on learning lockdown drills.

We need to build a more prosperous Minnesota where businesses come to compete because the rules are fair, where people can realize the dream of home ownership, where no one ever has to make the choice between groceries and health care.

We need to build a Minnesota with the best schools and the best teachers, and that means building a Minnesota where teachers come to teach because they know that we support them.

We need to build a Minnesota that stands for the rule of law, where every voice is heard, where every vote is counted, and where everyone, regardless of their immigration status, is treated with respect and dignity and due process.

I'm running because I want to build a better Minnesota, and I want to do it with all of you.
